Robinson
This is the version of Robinson with the original lyrics, before they had to be 'de-Paul-Simon-ized'. It also is a slightly different mix. This version was played during a radio interview some time before Alankomaat was released.

Sampler Demo #3
This comes from a tape on which there are several recordings that were probably made to try out a new keyboard sampler. This demo is a good example of how this tape sounds. Mostly it's repetitive noises over a simple drum pattern. Not really easy listening...
Demo, probably 1986/7

Scarborough Fair
Usually in the HAT Tour the intro to Nescio consisted of Henk singing a part of the English verse over a piano backing, as can be heard on URK. In this case he sang a bit of Simon & Garfunkel's song Scarborough Fair.

Skateboard Boy
This song was written and recorded circa 1977-1978 by the Nits. It was never put on an album, but it was played live a lot in the late '70s. During the Nits (Debut Album) Tour of 1977-1979 they played it similar to the studio version. During the 1979-1980 Tent Tour the song lost its lyrics and it was played as an instrumental. The next incarnation of the song was in 1980 on a demo version of Different Kitchen of New Flat, where the music formed the basis of this song. Later on they scrapped that and wrote new music for the song, but the rhythm is still very similar to Skateboard Boy.
Then it was silent for 20 years for this song, until coverband LICE dug it up and played it on November 19th 2000 at Greatest Nits INC, much to the surprise of everyone in the audience (on the official website you can hear the LICE version in the Mailbox section). Only a handful of people were familiar with this song!

Sketches Of Spain (acoustic, 1991)
Nits played a stripped-down acoustic show on the radio in April 1991. This was one of the inspirations for the sound of the Ting album.

Slip Of The Tongue
This song wasn't usually part of the Giant Normal Dwarf Tour setlists. This version shows that with just three people they managed to play this song, although there are many better versions from other tours. The fact that it's very rare for this tour makes up for this. Audience Recording.

So Long Ago, Nancy & Apple Orchard (soundcheck)
This is an odd medley of bits of Leonard Cohen's So Long Ago, Nancy that turns into Apple Orchard. It's quite long and the sound is not optimal, but it shows how the band sometimes likes to experiment in soundchecks.
