Frits – Leven Na De Dood
This was taken from the official Frits live video. At the time this was a rather unknown song. It's originally a Bob Dylan song (Death Is Not The End) that was translated by Freek de Jonge. He had performed it by himself in earlier shows using the street organ that is also heard in this version. It was used again for the Frits project and a few years later he recorded it again together with Stips. He changed the lyrics once again to be a humorous take on some current affairs and it went, to everyone's surprise, to number 1 in the Dutch top 40! The Frits version is a bit more general, but very nice to hear.

Nathalie In The Dutch Mountains
This is a short, odd improvised medley of the song Nathalie and In The Dutch Mountains. Sound quality is pretty lousy, but it's unique enough to place it here.

The Hat
The live version of this song was unfortunately missing from the Urk album. This version features the unreleased ending with extra lyrics and some George Gershwin musical quotes.

J.O.S. Days (Park Version)
This is a unique version of J.O.S. Days, recorded for Austrian TV. The song starts with the band playing in a park (Henk on banjo, Robert Jan on accordion, Rob on tamborine and Joke on harmonica) with people passing them by. Halfway through the song shifts to a live performance on stage during a concert.

Wall In China
This song was the B-side to Three Sisters. During the Alankomaat Tour it was played very often. It's a beautiful song that also sounded great live. Audience Recording.

Henk Hofstede & Simon Ho Band - Het Draagbare Huis
Henk guested at a few Simon Ho concerts in early 2004. They played several songs together, including this great version of the title track of Henk's solo album. Simon's band includes former Nits singer (2001-2002) Vera van der Poel.

Nits & Friends - Nescio
A great version of Nescio opened the two concerts Nits played in Switzerland with an extended band. Besides Late-Wool period Nits (incl. Vera v.d. Poel) the band included Simon Ho on keyboards, two extra female singers, an extra drummer, two extra guitar players, a two-piece horn section and a four-piece string section.

The Train (banjo version)
The Train was not regularly played in the wool Tour and if it made the set, it was the simple short version, except for one night in Beverwijk… Henk picked the banjo instead of the guitar and the result was this long, hectic country & westerrn version. The flute is played by Leona. It's a messy version, but a lot of fun! Audience recording.

The NEST Tour arrangement of Boy In A Tree was great, unfortunately it was played at a small number of concerts. Luckily they played it at a radio show, so here it is in excellent quality.
