(6556 kb)Frits – Leven Na De Dood
This was taken from the official Frits live video. At the time this was a
rather unknown song. It's originally a Bob Dylan song (Death Is Not The
End) that was translated by Freek de Jonge. He had performed it by himself
in earlier shows using the street organ that is also heard in this
version. It was used again for the Frits project and a few years later he
recorded it again together with Stips. He changed the lyrics once again to
be a humorous take on some current affairs and it went, to everyone's
surprise, to number 1 in the Dutch top 40! The Frits version is a bit more
general, but very nice to hear.

This is a short, odd improvised medley of the song Nathalie and In The Dutch Mountains. Sound quality is pretty lousy, but it's unique enough to place it here.Antwerpen

(6102 kb)J.O.S. Days (Park Version)
This is a unique version of J.O.S. Days, recorded for Austrian TV. The song starts with the band playing in a park (Henk on banjo, Robert Jan on accordion, Rob on tamborine and Joke on harmonica) with people passing them by. Halfway through the song shifts to a live performance on stage during a concert.Austria

(6082 kb)The Train (banjo version)
The Train was not regularly played in the wool Tour and if it made the
set, it was the simple short version, except for one night in Beverwijk…
Henk picked the banjo instead of the guitar and the result was this long,
hectic country & westerrn version. The flute is played by Leona. It's a
messy version, but a lot of fun! Audience recording.Beverwijk
